ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
  • Andrea Prencipe

    Andrea Prencipe is the Rector of Luiss University, having formerly served as Deputy Rector. He is also a full Professor of Organization Theory and Innovation.

    Prior to that, Andrea has held academic positions at INSEAD and the G. D’Annunzio University; and he has been a visiting professor at BI Norway, Imperial College Business School, and Rotterdam School of Management, and Honorary Professor at SPRU-University of Sussex. Additionally, he has been an invited as lecturer to Harvard Business School, University of Michigan, London Business School, and Oxford University; and has taught courses at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and the National Economics University in Hanoi.

    Andrea is an associate editor of the Journal of Management Studies and is member of the editorial board of several journals, such as Industrial and Corporate Change, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, International Journal of Project Management, and Long Range Planning. Andrea’s research interests include the organization of innovation, project-based organizations, and the relationships between regional social capital and firms’ performance. He has published articles on these subjects in academic journals –Research Policy–, practitioner journals – California Management Review–, and in major international publishers –Oxford University Press.

    He holds a BA from the G. d’Annunzio University, and MA from the St. Anna School of Advanced Studies, and a MSc and PhD from the SPRU-University of Sussex.

  • Francesco Giorgino

    Francesco Giorgino, giornalista e professore universitario. In Luiss dirige il Master di secondo livello in Comunicazione e Marketing politico e istituzionale, insegna al Corso di laurea magistrale in Marketing “Content Marketing & Brand Storytelling” e al Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche “Newsmaking”. È senior research fellow del centro “Innovazione e Comportamenti” della Luiss denominato “X.ite”. È componente dell’Associazione Italiana di Sociologia. È autore di decine di saggi sui temi della Comunicazione, del Giornalismo e del Marketing. Conduce l’edizione delle 20 del Tg1 e i programmi di approfondimento politico della testata.

  • Simona Romani

    Professor Romani is Deputy Rector for Sustainability and Innovation in Teaching and Learning at Luiss University in Rome, Italy. She is also a Full Professor in Consumer Behavior. She has been a Visiting Professor at University of Michigan and University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She has been also invited speaker at a variety of institutions in Europe and abroad.

    Professor Romani is an expert on psychology of consumption, consumer emotions, consumer-brand relationships, and consumer responses to new technologies. She has published articles on these subjects in consumer and marketing journals – e.g. Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, Marketing Letters, and European Journal of Marketing.
