Giovanni Lo Storto è Direttore Generale della Luiss Guido Carli, laureato in Economia e Commercio nel 1994.

Consigliere di Amministrazione Indipendente di Pirelli & C. S.p.A., membro del Comitato Controllo, Rischi, Sostenibilità e Corporate Governance e del Comitato Strategie e del Comitato Parti Correlate. È Consigliere di Amministrazione Indipendente di Banca Mediolanum e membro del Comitato Rischi e del Comitato Remunerazioni.

È membro del Consiglio di Amministrazione della rivista Internazionale, della rivista Formiche, della Fondazione Mediterraneo e di varie altre Società. È componente del Comitato di Gestione della Fondazione Italia Sociale e Vice Presidente Esecutivo e membro del CdA di LA4G, il club deal Luiss creato per attrarre investimenti nelle start-up dell’ecosistema imprenditoriale di Ateneo. Co-founder dell’acceleratore di impresa LuissEnLabs e di 42 Roma Luiss, la scuola di coding gratuita e basata sul peer-to-peer learning. Ha curato per Rubbettino nel 2014 l’edizione italiana del libro “Jugaad Innovation” e nel 2016 “Frugal Innovation”. Nel 2017 ha pubblicato il suo libro “EroStudente. Il desiderio di prendere il largo.”

Andrea Prencipe is the Rector of Luiss University, having formerly served as Deputy Rector. He is also a full Professor of Organization Theory and Innovation.

Prior to that, Andrea has held academic positions at INSEAD and the G. D’Annunzio University; and he has been a visiting professor at BI Norway, Imperial College Business School, and Rotterdam School of Management, and Honorary Professor at SPRU-University of Sussex. Additionally, he has been an invited as lecturer to Harvard Business School, University of Michigan, London Business School, and Oxford University; and has taught courses at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and the National Economics University in Hanoi.

Andrea is an associate editor of the Journal of Management Studies and is member of the editorial board of several journals, such as Industrial and Corporate Change, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, International Journal of Project Management, and Long Range Planning. Andrea’s research interests include the organization of innovation, project-based organizations, and the relationships between regional social capital and firms’ performance. He has published articles on these subjects in academic journals –Research Policy–, practitioner journals – California Management Review–, and in major international publishers –Oxford University Press.

He holds a BA from the G. d’Annunzio University, and MA from the St. Anna School of Advanced Studies, and a MSc and PhD from the SPRU-University of Sussex.
